2009 –
Ragdoll illustrations was established
Soon after graduating design school Sally established stationery label Ragdoll illustrations. Her style was quickly recognised for its playful nature and use of clean lines. Greeting cards expanded into high archival art prints, notebooks and wrapping paper and were sold across design stores and galleries in Aotearoa, Australia, The UK and Japan.
2010 –
Papier mache magazine
In 2010 Sally joined Sydney based magazine, Papier mache as their in-house illustrator. This role would see her follow the magazine from their original online platform into their printed era.

2012 –
Ragdoll expands
In 2012 Sally expanded her skillset in textiles – learning the art of screen printing and pattern design. This opened up the brands offering to include fabric sold by the meter, soft furnishings, wallpaper and printed children’s toys. The brand retained its ethos for quality by having its products printed and made in Aotearoa.
2013 – 2014
Murals
As popularity for Ragdoll grew, Sally was invited to create original art for the walls of a number of stores across Aotearoa and Australia. These included The fabric store, Superette, Swonderful and Wanda Harland.
2014 –
Citta
In 2014 Sally joined Citta Design as one of their textile and product designers. During this time Sally worked on their AW15 Paris collection which saw her designing everything from ceramics to bed linen and apparel.
2016 – 2020
twenty-seven names
In 2016 Sally joined twenty-seven names as their in-house textile designer. Over the span of four years Sally worked on eight collections, along with a selection of smaller projects collaborating with local labels such as Garage Project, Six Barrel Soda and Venues Wellington.
